History of the Queen Pageant

Picture

The Queen Pageant has been a cherished fair tradition since 1962, when the first “Miss Albert County” or “Queen of the A.C.E.” was crowned. Not only does the Pageant bring a youthful spirit and excitement to the fair's program each year, but it also provides a rewarding and memorable experience for the participants. During the 100th anniversary celebrations, the “Royalty Reunion” of former A.C.E. Queens will be a special highlight. Let's celebrate the community spirit and the happy memories generated by the Queen Pageant for over 50 years!

During the parade on Saturday, September 14, the “ACE Royalty 1962-2013” can be seen waving from a float. At 2:00pm during the Saturday afternoon program, enjoy meeting all the A.C.E. Queens as they are introduced on the arena stage. ~ Dawne McLean
