The Albert County Exhibition Queen Pageant 2019
Josie Steeves, 15 year old daughter of Andrea Steeves Quigley and Adrian Young, was crowned Queen of the 2019 Albert County Exhibition at the pageant ceremony held Thursday evening, September 12. Josie, a grade 10 student at Caledonia Regional High School, was “all smiles” as she was crowned by the 2018 ACE Queen, Hannah Morrissey. Josie was also voted as Miss Congeniality by her fellow pageant participants.
First Princess was Leah Raworth of Riverview, 16 year old daughter of Justin Raworth. Leah is a grade 11 student at Riverview High School.
Second Princess was Katelyn Wood of Prosser Brook, 16 year old daughter of Christa Wood. Katie, a grade 11 student, attends Petitcodiac Regional High School .
The other pageant contestants were: Faith Langille of Riverview and Ocean Steeves of Hillsborough.
A very special guest attending the 2019 pageant ceremony was Brooklyn Wilkins of Hopewell Cape, who was ACE Queen in 2016. Brooklyn returned to the exhibition as 2019 Miss Teen Maritime International, as well as holding the title of National Canadian Teen 2019 after winning the national competition held in Toronto in July.
A panel of four judges interviewed the contestants who were judged on involvement with the exhibition, poise, personality, communication skills, and community volunteer work. The pageant judges were Cynthia MacCallum, Donna Hudson Weir, Michel Belliveau and Stephen Oatway.
“The ACE Queen Pageant has been a cherished fair tradition since the first Queen of the Albert County Exhibition was crowned in1962”, says Dawne McLean, who has been pageant coordinator since 1983. “The pageant provides a rewarding and enjoyable experience for the girls who participate, and brings an exciting youthful spirit to the exhibition each year.”

Message from the 2018 Queen
Welcome everyone to the 2019 Albert County Exhibition! It has been such an honour to have been chosen as your 2018 A.C.E Queen. It has been a truly unforgettable experience, making new memories with great friends!
I would like to thank everyone who puts so much hard work, and effort into making the fair possible for everyone to enjoy every year! It wouldn’t be possible without so many hard working, and dedicated people.
Finally, to this year's contestants ~ have fun and don’t forget to smile, because you will hear that many times throughout the day!
Also, “best of luck” to all of you! It is a very memorable day, so make the best of it! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year.
Enjoy the exhibition!
Sincerely,
Hannah Morrissey, 2018 A.C.E. Queen
